MATERIAL CHARACTERISTICS |

CRISTALPLANT
Cristalplant® is known for its natural stone-like surface with a soft touch effect. It is a material composed mostly of high-purity aluminum trihydrate mineral fillers, bound by plant-based resins. Cristalplant® is a homogeneous material throughout its thickness and can be repaired from scratches, stubborn stains, and cigarette burns, restoring the surface to its original beauty. For cleaning, soapy water or common detergents are sufficient to remove most stains and dirt that may settle on the surface. To maintain the characteristic matte finish, use an abrasive sponge and gel or abrasive cleaners during the cleaning process, taking care to rinse the surface immediately.

OCRITECH
Ocritech is an innovative material made from pure cast acrylic without mineral fillers, which, thanks to its composition, is very lightweight. The advantages of Ocritech are numerous: it is extremely resistant to impacts, heat (max. 80°), various types of diluted acids, and alkaline substances. It is easy to clean and maintains its color stability over time, being a material invulnerable to UV rays. Among its features, it also stands out for its resistance to the absorption of certain commonly used cosmetic and beauty products, such as hair dye. For the daily cleaning of Ocritech matt washbasins, use a Scotch Brite sponge on the dry surface, then rinse with water and subsequently dry with a microfiber cloth.

QUARTZ RESIN
The resin quartz is made from a mixture of quartz with a maximum percentage of 5% acrylic resins. The tops made from this material are homogeneous, compact, and particularly resistant to impacts. They are resistant to abrasions, attacks from various chemical agents, and thermal shocks. This is a very hygienic product, which has the characteristic of being antistatic (does not attract dust). Thanks to the aforementioned characteristics, they are easy to maintain: for proper cleaning, it is sufficient to use a damp cloth and a neutral detergent.

MARBLES AND QUARTZITES
Why choose a top in marble or quartzite?
Because being natural materials, they have an invaluable originality given by the difference in the slabs from which they are extracted. Marble has elegance and tradition, while quartzite offers resistance and durability.
MARBLE CHARACTERISTICS:
Marble has elegant grains and a uniform, shaded color. Quartzite has a similar appearance to marble but with a brighter crystalline structure and more irregular grains. It originates from a metamorphic rock derived from limestone and is mainly composed of calcium carbonate. It is vulnerable to scratches and has a medium/high water absorption.
QUARTZITE CHARACTERISTICS:
Quartzite has a similar appearance to marble but with a brighter crystalline structure and more irregular grains. It originates from a metamorphic rock derived from sandstone and is mainly composed of quartz. It is highly resistant to scratches, acids, and has a low water absorption.
NOTE! Ensure that the wall’s support is adequate for the use of marble or quartzite tops (items of high weight). Pay extra attention if the composition is completely wall-hung. The company assumes no responsibility for use and fixing to walls that are not adequately structured and prepared for use.
Marble/quartzite, being natural products, present always unique and unrepeatable shades and grains. Samples/photos are purely indicative.

TEKNO MATT
Tekno is a material primarily composed of a combination of a natural mineral and high-quality acrylic resin. This allows it to remain unchanged over time while preserving its original color without yellowing. Tekno is a compact, hygienic, and fireproof material that enables elegant and high-performance installations. The compact and non-porous surface is durable and easy to clean with common household cleaning products.
USE AND MAINTENANCE
Tekno is a resistant and durable material, but like all high-quality products, it can be damaged if used improperly. For easy maintenance and long-lasting use of a washbasin or a top in Tekno, we provide a series of recommendations to follow, so you can be satisfied with your purchased product for many years:
1. As a general maintenance treatment, we recommend cleaning the surface with warm water and a mild detergent, using a soft, damp cloth or sponge. Then dry with a soft cloth.
2. In the case of stains caused by hard water, soaps, or mineral products, clean with a descaling detergent (e.g., vinegar, VIAKAL®, AJAX®, CIF® descaler). Finish cleaning with warm water and a soft cloth. Then dry with a soft cloth.
3. In the case of stains of another nature (marker, lipstick, grease, food residues, etc.), clean with an ammonia-based detergent (e.g., CIF® ammoniacal). Finish cleaning with warm water and a soft cloth. Then dry with a soft cloth.
4. In the case of particularly persistent stains or small cuts and scratches, use an abrasive cleaner (e.g., VIM®, AJAX®) and an abrasive sponge (e.g., SCOTCH-BRITE®). Finish cleaning with warm water and a soft cloth. Then dry with a soft cloth.
5. In the case of cigarette burns or small cuts, use a sequence of abrasive papers 180/240/320 and finish with SCOTCH-BRITE®, taking care to clean the area with warm water and a soft cloth between each paper.

TEKNO RESIN
Tekno resin is an elegant mineral compound to the touch, hygienic and suitable for bathroom and public space furnishings. Among the most significant uses are washbasins, countertops, and shower trays. The resin film that coats the surface of the material provides excellent resistance from both a physical and, above all, chemical standpoint: it is indeed resistant to dry heat up to a temperature of 160°C. Any air bubbles or missing material on the non-visible surface should be considered characteristics of the material. However, these will not cause structural failure. To remove most stains, limescale, and dirt that normally accumulate on the surface, it is sufficient to clean with soapy water or common non-abrasive detergents used with a soft-bristle brush, taking care to rinse the surface well. In case of stubborn dirt (limescale), apply white vinegar or lemon with a soft-bristle brush and then rinse with water. Avoid placing hot objects on the surface. The use of aggressive chemical products such as acetone, trichlorethylene, strong acids, or bases is not recommended. Some substances such as ink, cosmetics, and dyes in prolonged contact with the material may release colorant onto the surface. Repairing deep scratches, minor chipping, and stubborn stains on the surface of the basin is often possible with simple maintenance. If the coating film has not been damaged throughout its thickness, it is sufficient to sand with a Scotch Brite sponge until the surface is completely uniform and rinse with water and a neutral detergent.

TEKNO DEIMOS MATT
Tekno Deimos is a material that belongs to the family of solid surfaces, produced in Italy, consisting of a combination of multiple natural minerals and high-quality acrylic/polyester resin, in indicative proportions of 2/3 (minerals) and 1/3 (resin). Thanks to its characteristic of being a compact material, Tekno Deimos allows for elegant and high-performance installations.
REGULAR MAINTENANCE
The compact, hygienic, fireproof, antibacterial, and non-porous surface is durable and easy to clean with common household cleaning products. NOTE! Do not use alcohol, solvents, acetones, and aggressive substances of unknown strength directly on the surface. The Tekno Deimos is homogeneous throughout the THICKness of its mass; thanks to this, small scratches can be easily restored.

TEKNO COLOR MATT
Tekno Color is a composite material, produced in Italy, whose internal mass consists of a combination of a natural mineral and polyester resin and is coated with a surface film of high-quality acrylic/polyester resin, which provides excellent chemical-physical resistance over time and absolute impermeability. The coating film gives the material a pleasant touch and a strong resemblance to ceramic material in its matt version, with antibacterial and fire-resistant properties.
USE AND MAINTENANCE
Tekno Geacril is a resistant and durable material but can be damaged if used improperly. For easy maintenance, clean the surface with warm water and a mild detergent, using a soft, non-abrasive, damp cloth or sponge. Rinse the surface well and then dry with a soft cloth.
USEFUL INFORMATION
A specific product is also applied to the colored versions that provides excellent water and oil repellency properties, making the surface less sensitive to scratches and fingerprints. The colored versions, however, require more attention in daily use because any damage or superficial scratching is more noticeable compared to white.

CORIAN
Corian is a high-performance blend of natural materials and acrylic polymers. The numerous qualities of Corian solid surfaces ensure their renewability and extreme ease of maintenance. Soapy water or a common ammonia-based cleaner will suffice to remove most dirt and stains from any finish. Avoid contact with chemicals or solvents. If this occurs, rinse the surface immediately with running water. Nail polish should be removed with a non-acetone nail cleaner and then rinsed with water. Minor damage, including scratches, stains from chemical agents, burns, and small dents, can be repaired directly using a Scotch-Brite abrasive sponge.

MINERALGUSS GLOSSY
Mineralguss is a composite material in which the internal mass, made up of a combination of a natural mineral and a polyester resin, serves as a support for the surface film. Therefore, it is not a plastic material, but rather an elegant mineral compound to the touch, hygienic and suitable for bathroom and public space furnishings. The gelcoat film that covers the surface of the material provides excellent resistance from both a physical and, above all, chemical standpoint. Mineralguss is a very ductile material, resistant to humid heat, cigarette burns, and dry heat.
MAINTENANCE: to remove dirt, limescale, and stains that normally accumulate on the surface, it is sufficient to clean with soapy water or common non-abrasive detergents using a non-abrasive sponge or cotton cloth, ensuring to rinse the surface well. Good and consistent maintenance, without excessive use of unsuitable soaps or detergents, preserves the shine. It is advisable to protect the surfaces of the top with the use of a water-repellent stain-resistant product.
NOTE: the surface of the countertop must never come into contact with solvents or alkaline lotions such as ammonia. Hair dye products must not stagnate in the BASIN and must be rinsed immediately. Never fill the washbasin with hot water whose temperature exceeds 60 °C.

FENIX
The exterior of FENIX NTM is obtained using nanotechnology and is characterized by a surface treated with next-generation acrylic resins, hardened and fixed through the Electron Beam Curing process. With low light reflection, its surface is extremely matte, fingerprint-resistant, and pleasantly soft to the touch. In addition to its main features, such as the repairability of micro-scratches, this innovative material is distinguished by specific properties that facilitate normal cleaning processes and do not require special maintenance: extreme ease of cleaning, high reduction of bacterial load, and anti-mold properties, great resistance to rubbing, scratches, and abrasion, as well as to acidic solvents and household reagents.
To achieve the best results in cleaning FENIX NTM, it is always good to remember some precautions:
• although very resistant, the surface of FENIX NTM should never be treated with products containing abrasive substances, abrasive sponges, or unsuitable tools, such as sandpaper or steel wool;
• products with a high acid or very alkaline content should be avoided as they may stain the surface;
• when using solvents, the cloth used must be perfectly clean to avoid leaving streaks on the surface of FENIX NTM. Any marks can still be removed by rinsing with hot water and drying;
• avoid furniture polish and, in general, cleaners containing waxes as they tend to form a sticky layer on the compact surface of FENIX NTM to which dirt adheres.
ORDINARY MAINTENANCE
The surface of FENIX NTM should be cleaned regularly but does not require special maintenance: a damp cloth with warm water or detergents is sufficient. All normal household cleaning or disinfectant products are well tolerated. The use of a magic sponge is recommended for regular cleaning and maintenance of the surface.
EXTRAORDINARY MAINTENANCE
In the presence of dirt traces that cannot be removed with normal household cleaners, due to the irregular topography of the FENIX NTM surface and its extreme closure, we recommend using non-aggressive aromatic solvents (acetone) for cleaning. In case of micro-scratches, please follow the surface repair instructions provided in the specific data sheets.

LAMINAM and GRES
Laminam and Gres are mixtures of natural raw materials. They combine reduced thickness and large sizes with high resistance to mechanical stress, chemical attacks, scratches, and abrasion.
RESISTANCE TO CHEMICAL ATTACKS AND WEAR
They resist organic and inorganic solvents, disinfectants, and detergents. They are extremely easy to clean while maintaining the surface characteristics. They resist scratches and deep abrasion, and their properties remain unchanged even after intense use and frequent cleaning.
HYGIENIC SURFACE
They are completely compatible with food substances as they do not release elements in solution. They do not allow the onset of mold, bacteria, and fungi.

SOLID GLASS
Solid Glass is a material produced through a process of melting and crystallization of silicon and glass particles. The sheets of this material are a mix of inorganic elements, therefore they do not undergo state changes. The material possesses the properties of both glass and ceramic, making it hard and durable, as well as eco-friendly and fully recyclable.

CRYSTAL
The tops in extralight glossy and satin glass with integrated washbasin, 1 cm thick, feature a flat polished edge and are available in 50 colors. They undergo a water-based coloring with polyurethane protection. The paint used is a water-based, pigmentable, anti-yellowing single-component suitable for glass painting. Any small imperfections and differences from the sample are to be considered a characteristic of the artisanal processing that makes each individual piece unique in its kind.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Use only the neutral silicone provided, taking care not to scratch the colored parts. To secure the glass top, use NEUTRAL NON-ACETIC SILICONE. When installing the mixer, siphon, waste, etc., be careful not to create tension in the glass basin by over-tightening. Always ensure to insert the silicone rubber gaskets between all metal parts in direct contact with the glass, otherwise, it may break.
TO AVOID: impacts, the fall of blunt objects, and placing hot objects on the glass (do not exceed a thermal shock of 40°C).
MAINTENANCE: clean exclusively with water and neutral detergents, avoid the use of solvents and abrasives.

ACRYLIC MATERIAL
Acrylic is a synthetic fiber made from a polymer (polyacrylonitrile) that provides high mechanical strength, thermal stability, and chemical resistance. To create the washbasins, these sheets are thermoformed into specially designed molds. Acrylic has unique characteristics that make it a premium material:
– Transparency: it is transparent like glass but lighter.
– Durability: it is resistant to weather conditions and UV rays, making it suitable for outdoor use as well. It does not yellow easily over time.
– Impact resistance: it is 10 times more resistant than glass in case of impacts.
– Aesthetics: it has a clean and elegant appearance.
The sinks comply with UNI EN 14688:2018.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
For cleaning, we recommend always using soft cloths that do not leave residues and a mild soap or a specific cleaner for plastic materials. We suggest always drying the surfaces after use to prevent unsightly limescale stains caused by the water used.
The use of abrasive sponges and cleaners containing alcohol or ammonia is not recommended. Additionally, it is essential to carefully read the instructions of the cleaner used, adhering to the recommended application times.
SURFACE RESTORATION
In case of minor scratches/abrasions, surface restoration is possible using fine sandpaper and polish, along with a cleaner and cotton for cleaning (see QR code).

CDF

With its support plate and multilayer structure, SWISSCDF sets new standards in the interior furniture sector in terms of both design and construction. Stability, scratch resistance, splash resistance, and low flammability characterize this natural wood material.

THE LACQUERED (matte – glossy – velvet)
Wide range of 50 colors available. Special care is required to avoid scratching the lacquered surfaces, so abrasive powders, ammonia, and acetone cannot be used. Furniture waxes should also be avoided. For proper cleaning, it is sufficient to use glass cleaning products or alcohol diluted with plenty of water, taking care to dry the surface immediately with soft, non-abrasive cloths. The protective acrylic velvet finish is a transparent finish based on acrylic characterized by a high matte effect and a softness similar to silk. The advantages of a protective coating applied with this product are the matte aesthetic effect and its silk touch, high chemical-physical resistance, protection of the underlying color, and providing the painted support with greater water repellency.

TOPS IN WOOD: WOODS
Wood veneer tops are among the most valuable, so it is necessary to use them with care. Wood is a “living” material, particularly sensitive to heat and humidity. Any color changes over time, due to light, do not represent a defect; rather, they emphasize the fact that it is a natural material. Note: for cleaning wood tops, it is sufficient to use a damp cloth with common glass cleaning products (water and vetril) or water and Marseille soap. It is recommended to dry any water droplets on wood tops, as over time stagnant water penetrates the grooves created by brushing and causes the paint to detach due to increased humidity in the wood.

ANTICO OAK
Antico oak is called so because it is derived from beams over 200 years old. Its uniqueness lies in the presence of knots, small holes, and imperfections on its surface, which also denote its authenticity. Such irregularities should be considered not defects but elements that enhance the value and uniqueness of this finish. To preserve the beautiful antico oak over time, it is sufficient to use a cloth dampened with a neutral, non-abrasive cleaner. It is also recommended to dry any water droplets.

ECOPIETRA
Ecopietra is an eco-friendly, non-toxic material, produced in Italy and certified according to the new European regulations. The polymeric mixtures in aqueous emulsion include elements derived from renewable sources such as sunflower oil.
The material is compact and, while simulating the effect of stone, maintains elasticity and flexibility.
For daily cleaning, use non-aggressive detergents and dry the surface with a soft cloth.

WALNUT ANTICO and WALNUT CANALETTO
The WALNUT antico is obtained from centuries-old national walnut trees. The peculiar characteristics are the knots, the cracks, the color contrast given by the sapwood, and all the irregularities conferred by the passage of time. The canaletto walnut (also known as American Walnut) comes from Pennsylvania: it is processed and subsequently treated with a bleaching cycle to make the grain more uniform.

HPL LAMINATES
High-pressure laminates combine their excellent aesthetic qualities with properties and virtues of great interest for those designing or creating interior design solutions, starting from versatility and robustness. It is a material that is both easy to work with and extremely durable: resistant to scratches, impacts, abrasions, chemicals, and heat. These characteristics make it ideal for a wide range of applications. They are antibacterial and fire-resistant panels, therefore particularly suitable for applications in public places or in all cases where a high level of hygiene is particularly important. HPL panels are impact-resistant, withstand blows from blunt objects well, are scratch and wear-resistant, and stable to light and UV rays.
NOTE! The top in Crystal Glass, Mineralguss, Tekno, Laminam, Gres, Fenix, and HPL protrude by 0.3 cm on each side and 0.5 cm at the front.
NOTE! Our company standardly produces top for washbasins with 1 hole for the mixer positioned behind the washbasin. To avoid unpleasant misunderstandings, please always provide all indications regarding the position of the hole for the mixer, especially when the tap is wall-mounted.
